The health sector suffers enormous setbacks by having limited or no access to electricity. Every day, lives are at risk as there is not enough electricity for many items such as life-saving devices, refrigeration for vaccines, operating rooms and maternity wards. We give each health center 24/7 hours of power supply where it is most needed.
We can all agree that basic education is one of the most important factors of life. Refurnishing the educational institutions and giving them power to supply for laboratories, technical and vocational training centres increases the standard of the schools and gives the children and youth a better head start for the future.
It is estimated that there are more than 9 million orphans in Sub-Saharan Africa. Some live with extended families, however many live in orphanages. The orphanages are overflowing and have little money.
We intend to refurnish each orphanage and supply them with lights, toilets and all necessary utilities to make them safer and better places for children who have already lost so much.
how we work.
We work together with local partners and select sites which have no electricity or are in urgent need of stable power supply.
We inspect each site and make detailed technical layouts for what is needed inclusive of lamps, switches and all electrical requirements.
We also plan the refurbishment and repair of necessities such as toilets, water pipes and roofs to make the site a hazard free environment.
Project sizes vary between 3kWp-50kWp.
Your donation is allocated and once we have reached our target we start with the civil and preparation works while we are purchasing and shipping the items.
Our local team will install and maintain the sites. We will make sure that maintenance will be done for at least 10 years!
Please be patient with us, projects like this can take up to 3-4 months to implement- depending on the size of each site.
